If you will be doing your Placement Tests during your New Student Center appointment, you should prepare for your test so that you achieve your highest possible score. A higher placement often results in fewer classes needed to complete degree requirements.
You should have thought about what you’re interested in studying at LBCC. We guide students based on their particular area of interest. Take a moment to look through our programs of study on our Programs of Study and start thinking about what you might like to major in.
If you are a transfer student, please have your transcripts from your previous institution(s) sent to LBCC for evaluation. Also, please bring a copy of your unofficial transcripts to your appointment, just in case your transcripts are delayed and we haven’t evaluated them yet. An unofficial set of transcripts helps our staff guide you to the right classes and make sure you don’t repeat any previous work you’ve done.
